The National Science Foundation (http://www.nsf.gov) selects the IPLC for testing at it's Black Island installation in the Antarctic. This region is one of the coldest spots on the planet with temperatures reaching as low as -128.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The IPLC is well suited for such extreme conditions with it's unique thermo-static design and over 300,000 years of field operation experience in the world's most challenging environments.
