The IPLC is a smart power receptacle that can replace any existing parking stall outlet with models available for 15 or 20 amp installations. It incorporates a microprocessor, temperature sensors, and red and green LED lights to tell users the status of the system.
The IP3 Series Pedestal is a modular parking pedestal with a rust-free anodized aluminum tower. It is available with or without an IPLC control.

The IPLC control mitigates the initial parking lot power demand with the use of a two hour power delay. This does not impact the starting of the vehicle because the engine is typically warm two hours after turn off. The two hour power delay will guarantee savings regardless of the outside temperatures.
The IPLC control constantly monitors weather conditions such as: temperature and wind chill and will only deliver power based on a factory set temperature schedule. This eliminates any excess power usage while ensuring all vehicles will start with ease.
The IPLC control stops short circuits and tripped breakers making electrical service calls unnecessary. This will reduce the expense of maintenance or electrical staff required to reset tripped parking lot breakers.
Note: The savings of reduced maintanence costs are not included in the savings report figures.
The IPLC LED lights provide feedback to tell each vehicle operator if their block heater and cord are working properly.
